Angou Named SupplementSource.ca Female Student-Athlete of the Month

(London, Ontario) – Fanshawe Athletics announced today, that Women's Basketball student-athlete Chuot Angou (London, ON) has been named the SupplementSource.ca Fanshawe Female Student-Athlete of the Month for February.

Angou had an excellent month for the #1 nationally ranked Falcons, leading them to a 6-0 record in February. She averaged a team-high 16.7 points per game on 43.5% shooting from the field and 94.4% from the charity stripe. Angou was named an OCAA Star of the Week and CCAA Female Athlete of the Week on February 5. She then had her best game of the season on February 8 at St. Clair when she recorded 31 points (46%) in Fanshawe's 68-57 victory. Angou set a new Fanshawe Women's Basketball record for most points in a single-season with 345 and finished off the month being named the OCAA Women's Basketball Player of the Year at the provincial banquet.

Angou is enrolled in the Police Foundations program and will receive a SupplementSource.ca health and wellness package for her accomplishments.
