After graduating from Centennial and being named OCAA Male Athlete of the Year in 2005, Allard enrolled at Fanshawe College and was a member of the Fanshawe badminton team, and continued his winning ways. In 2007, he once again won the OCAA men's singles gold medal. In 2008, he paired with Sarah Fuller to win the OCAA mixed doubles title.
Allard's contribution to the OCAA in the sport of badminton is evident by his formidable achievements.
