(London, Ontario) – Fanshawe Athletics announced today, that Women's Soccer student-athlete Aysia King (London, ON) has been named the Fanshawe Female Student-Athlete of the Month for November sponsored by the Fanshawe Alumni Association.

The Falcons Women's Soccer team finished fourth in the nation at the CCAA Women's Soccer National Championship in Toronto from November 9-13. In the four games played, King netted two goals and was named the Player of the Match in Fanshawe's 3-2 penalty kick victory over host Humber in the bronze semi-final. King was named a CCAA Tournament All-Star for her stellar play throughout the championship.

The Falcon rookie is currently in the Human Services Foundation program.
