(London, Ontario) – In the first edition of the 2022 Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) national rankings for basketball, the Falcons Women's Basketball team cracked the nation's top ten.

The two-time defending OCAA champion Women's Basketball squad sit at No. 8 in the opening CCAA rankings. OCAA teams St. Clair (4) and Humber (13) are also ranked nationally. The Falcons will begin their 2022 regular season at home on Wednesday, February 9 versus Conestoga at 6:00 p.m. The Falcons Men's Basketball team will take on the Condors at 8:00 p.m. Due to COVID-19, fans will not be permitted at this time, but the game is available to be live streamed at www.fanshawefalcons.ca/watchlive .
