During the 26th annual Fanshawe College Cross Country Invitational on Sept. 30 in London, Rice won the women's six kilometre race with a pace of 4:04/km. The defending OCAA champion finished with a time of 24:24, beating the second-place finisher by one minute and 11 seconds. Rice has now won four straight OCAA competitions dating back to last season, including the 2022 OCAA championship. Rice will look to keep the wins coming later this month at the Centennial Invitational in Scarborough.
