Men’s Cross Country Team No. 4 in Opening CCAA Ranking

(London, Ontario) – In the first edition of the 2019 Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) national rankings for Cross Country, both the Men's and Women's Fanshawe Falcons Cross Country teams are represented.

 

The Men's squad is ranked No. 4 in the CCAA after impressive back-to-back first place team finishes at the last two races at Fleming on September 22 and Seneca on September 28. In the most recent event at Seneca, four Falcons finished in the top ten; Patrick Smith (2), Lucas Reid (6), Dion Killens (7) and Luke Groulx (9). Other OCAA teams that are ranked include St. Clair (1), Sheridan (8), Humber (10) and St. Lawrence (12).

 

The Women's team begins the 2019 season ranked No. 15 in the country. Other OCAA teams represented in the national rankings include University of Toronto Mississauga (4), Laurier Brantford (6), Sheridan (8), Humber (10) and St. Clair (11).
