TORONTO - The following student-athletes have been recognized by the Ontario Colleges Athletic Association (OCAA) for their accomplishments during the seven-day period ending Sunday, Oct. 28:

School: Fanshawe
Program: Medical Radiation Technology
Year of Eligibility: 4
Sport: Cross Country
Hometown: Peterborough, Ont.
Hanna captured the OCAA women's individual gold medal for the second straight season in a six kilometre time of 23:44.5, leading the Fanshawe women's team to a second consecutive provincial championship. Hanna's back-to-back titles was a first at provincials since Fanshawe's Liliane Sparkes did the trick in 2009 and 2010. Hanna is only the fifth woman in OCAA cross country history to repeat. She also headlines the OCAA All-Ontario Team, and will now set her sights on a national medal next month at Seneca College in King City.
