(London, Ontario) – Fanshawe Athletics announced today, that Women's Volleyball student-athlete Mattea Deleary (Ridgetown, ON) has been named the SupplementSource.ca Fanshawe Female Student-Athlete of the Month for March.

At the CCAA Women's Volleyball National Championship from March 11-14 in Quebec City, Deleary was named Fanshawe's Player of the Match in two of the four games. The third-year middle recorded 14 points on 13 kills and a service ace in the national semi-finals, and 13 points on 11 kills and two blocks in the bronze medal match. Deleary also led the Falcons with a .457 kill percentage throughout the championship. Fanshawe fell just short of medaling, finishing fourth in the nation. Deleary was also named an OCAA Star of the Week on March 16 for her strong performance on the national stage.

Deleary is enrolled in the Bachelor of Early Childhood Leadership program and will receive a SupplementSource.ca health and wellness package for her accomplishments.
