(London, Ontario) – The No. 4 CCAA ranked Fanshawe Women's Volleyball squad (11-0) rolled to a three set victory over Conestoga (2-9) at home on Thursday evening. The win extended their OCAA winning streak to 34 games.

The Falcons jumped out to an early lead with a service ace from rookie middle Skylar Johnston (Hamilton, ON) followed by a tip from Mattea Deleary (Ridgetown, ON). A massive kill from captain Janelle Albert (Brampton, ON) put the red and white up 18-11 midway through the frame. Fanshawe continued to dominate the first set and went on to win 25-16.

A strong hit from Katie Stewart (Gananoque, ON) gave the Falcons a 9-2 lead in set two. A dig from libero Lauren Reycraft (Kitchener, ON) set up a kill from Lauren Vahrmeyer (Vineland, ON) to extend Fanshawe's lead. The Falcons took the second set by a score of 25-9.

The red and white continued where they left off in the third frame when Ashley Rafferty (Peace River, AB) set up Albert for yet another kill. The Condors were able to tie the set at seven and traded points with Fanshawe through the middle of the frame. The home squad then went on a five point run to take the lead and would not look back to win the final set 25-20, and the match 3-0. Stewart finished with a game-high 15 points, while teammates Albert and Deleary added 14 and 11 points respectively. Albert is currently leading the OCAA in points per set with 5.9, nearly two ahead of her nearest competitor.
