Angou Named an OCAA Star of the Week

TORONTO - The following student-athletes have been recognized by the Ontario Colleges Athletic Association (OCAA) for their accomplishments during the seven-day period ending on Sunday, November 3:

Program: Protection, Security and Investigation
Year of Eligibility: 5
Sport: Women's Basketball
Hometown: London, Ont.
In a rematch of last year's OCAA gold medal game, Angou led Fanshawe to an 84-65 victory over St. Clair on Oct. 30. The reigning OCAA Player of the Year made quite the splash shooting 7-of-10 from three-point range while going 4-of-5 at the free throw line scoring a game-high 25 points. Angou tied a Fanshawe record for most individual triples in a game and added five rebounds, three assists and two steals. The fifth-year guard is currently shooting an impressive 59 per cent from beyond the arc. The defending champion Falcons are 3-0 to being their season.
