Angou Named an OCAA Star of the Week

TORONTO - The following student-athletes have been recognized by the Ontario Colleges Athletic Association (OCAA) for their accomplishments during the seven-day period ending Sunday, Feb. 3:

Program: Police Foundations
Year of Eligibility: 4
Sport: Women's Basketball
Hometown: London, Ont.
In Fanshawe's 92-44 victory over Mohawk on Jan. 31, Angou led all scorers with 28 points, shooting an impressive 63 per cent (10-of-16) from the field, 50 per cent (4-of-8) from three-point range and 100 per cent (4-of-4) from the free throw line. The fourth-year guard added four rebounds, three steals and two assists and had zero turnovers. Angou is currently eighth in OCAA scoring averaging 16.5 points per game. Fanshawe (15-1) has won 11 straight games but have yet to clinch first place in a very competitive West Division. The Falcons visit Lambton (11-7) on Feb. 5.
