(London, Ontario) – On Monday afternoon, the Ontario Colleges Athletic Association (OCAA) named the Volleyball award winners for the 2021-22 season.

Tanner Paterson (Baden, ON) was named the OCAA Men's Volleyball West Division Rookie of the Year for his stellar play this season. The outside hitter averaged 2.4 points per set with 80 total points on 71 kills, five service aces and four blocks. He also contributed 49 digs. Paterson headlines the West Division All-Rookie Team.

Fanshawe middle Evan West (London, ON) was awarded an OCAA Second Team All-Star. West led the Men's Volleyball squad with 16 blocks this season. He averaged 2.2 points per set and added six aces.

Hannah Onyema (St. Thomas, ON) was named to the OCAA Women's Volleyball All-Rookie Team for her strong efforts this year. Onyema was second in the OCAA West Division in blocks per set, averaging 0.81 and leading the Falcons with 30 blocks on the season. She averaged 1.8 points per set, with 27 kills and nine service aces.
