(London, Ontario) – Two Fanshawe Falcons Men's Volleyball team members were honoured for their accomplishments this season as the OCAA handed out their 2019-20 league awards on Wednesday evening.
Mike Liscumb – OCAA Second Team All-Star:
Fifth-year middle blocker Mike Liscumb (Ilderton, ON) led Fanshawe with 23 stuffed blocks this season. His experience helped the young Falcons to an OCAA Championship birth. He also added 78 kills, 18 blocks and 12 service aces. In his career, Liscumb accumulated 102 blocks, good for second all-time in Fanshawe Men's Volleyball history.
Ewan Mason – OCAA West Division All-Rookie Team:
Ewan Mason (London, ON) led the Falcons with 169 total points this season. He recorded a team-high 133 kills, 25 service aces and added 11 blocks.
The Falcons Volleyball squad (10-9, 5th in West) will face the Conestoga Condors (15-4, 2nd in West) in an OCAA quarterfinal match on Thursday, February 27 at 3pm. The Championship is being hosted by Fleming College in Peterborough, ON.
