(London, Ontario) – In this week's Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) national rankings, the Fanshawe Falcons Men's Soccer team is ranked number one in Canada.

The Fanshawe Men's Soccer team has started off their season with a 3-0 record. They are currently the only team in the league without a goal against, behind excellent goalkeeping by Dylan DaSilva (London, ON) and stellar defending from veterans Colin Elvie (Vittoria, ON) and Eric Savioie (Ingersoll, ON). Local striker Nicolas Jimenez leads the red and white with three goals scored.

This is the highest CCAA ranking by a Fanshawe Men's Soccer squad since 2002, when Head Coach Rob Pereira and Lead Assistant Walter Picanco were active roster players.

Other OCAA teams that are ranked include Algonquin (4), Humber (7), Centennial (8) and Conestoga (15).
