The No. 4 CCAA ranked Fanshawe Men's team (11-1, 1st in West) defeated No. 9 Sheridan (9-3, 3rd in West) in Peterborough 2-0 in their semi-final on Friday evening.

A brilliant cross from OCAA First Team All-Star Tomas Alvarez (London, ON) set up rookie striker Malachi Morris (Tillsonburg, ON) for the opening goal of the match. The Falcons would add a second goal when Jonathan Kam (London, ON) poked one by the Sheridan goalkeeper. Alvarez was the player of the game for Fanshawe. The Falcons will battle for an OCAA championship on Saturday, October 26 against the No. 13 nationally ranked and defending national champion Humber Hawks (9-2-1, 4th in West). Kick-off begins at 3pm and the winner will also advance to the CCAA National Championship from November 6-9 at Durham College in Oshawa.

On Wednesday in the OCAA quarterfinal, the Falcons defeated the host Fleming Knights (0-6-3, 8th in East) three to nil. Dominic Szyszka (London, ON) was named the player of the match for Fanshawe. The Falcons goal scorers were London natives Ben Vyfschaft and Jordan Brisson.
