TORONTO - The following student-athletes have been recognized by the Ontario Colleges Athletic Association (OCAA) for their accomplishments during the seven-day period ending Sunday, Oct. 14:

Ben Vyfschaft
School: Fanshawe
Program: Fitness and Health Promotion
Year of Eligibility: 1
Sport: Men's Soccer
Hometown: London, Ont.
Vyfschaft scored four goals in Fanshawe's 9-0 win over Redeemer on Saturday, tying the Fanshawe record for most goals in a single match. It was Vyfschaft's third multi-goal match in four appearances. The first-year player finished the regular season with a dozen goals, good for second in the OCAA with a handful of matches remaining. There are no more regular season matches for Fanshawe in 2018, but the Falcons earned a golden ticket to the OCAA championship in Toronto from Oct. 25-27 on the strength of their 9-0-1 and West Division championship.
