(London, Ontario) – At the 2023-24 Men's Indoor Soccer OCAA Provincial Championship on Friday afternoon, the Fanshawe Falcons placed fourth.

During the semi-final match, the Hawks scored a quick goal to put the Falcons down one early. Humber controlled a majority of the possession and the Falcons fell 3-0.

It was a defensive battle between the Fanshawe Falcons and George Brown Huskies in the first half of the bronze medal match. Fanshawe's Colin Elvie (Vittoria, ON) made great defensive team saves, but the Huskies snuck a shot in the Falcons' net to lead 1-0 at half. With eight minutes left in the match, George Brown scored to extend their lead by two. Then, Kyle Cameron (St. Catharines, ON) knocked in a sweet goal to close in on the Huskie's advantage. Eventually, the Falcons dropped the match 4-1 and finished fourth in the province.

Third-year striker and team captain, Cameron was named a Tournament All-Star for his exceptional performance and three goals scored during the championship.
