Get to know Falcons Men's Basketball Head Coach, Tony Marcotullio. He has been the Fanshawe Head Coach since 2012 and has a league record of 84-65.

 

Where is your home town?

London

Where did you go to university?

I went to Wilfrid Laurier University and graduated with a major in Geography, then went to Memorial for teaching.

Playing career highlights:

From 1987/88-1991/92, I was the leading scorer for WLU. I was also named an OUA All-Star in my third season.

Why do you coach?

To shape young minds and to unlock the great potential of our students through sport.

Who is your coaching inspiration?

My high school coach at Beal, Dan Colfax. He was a great coach and an even better educator and person.

What is your favourite Falcons coaching memory?

When Chris Parker hit that incredible buzzer beater 3-pointer over two defenders to win the game at Niagara in 2018/19.

What do you like to do in your free time?

Spend time with two children and go fishing.

Any fun facts you'd like to share about yourself?

I am an excellent chef and baker. I also enjoy singing out loud in my car.
