Chris Parker Named OCAA First Team All-Star

(London, Ontario) – This morning at the OCAA Men's Basketball Championship Banquet in Barrie, Chris Parker (Toledo, OH) was named an OCAA West Division First Team All-Star for the second consecutive season.

 

Parker led the Falcons with 23.0 points per game, good for sixth place in the OCAA. He shot 42.1% from the field, 35.9% from beyond the arc and 85.1% from the free throw line. He also added 4.9 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 1.5 steals per game. Parker joined the OCAA 1000-point club this year after only playing three seasons in the league. He set new Fanshawe Men's Basketball records for most points in a single game (48) and most made field goals in a game (16) on October 24, 2018 against Lambton.

 

The Falcons finished the regular season with a 13-7 record (5th in West) and will play in a quarterfinal game today at 3:00pm against the #7 nationally ranked Sheridan Bruins (15-5, 2nd in West). The two teams split games (1-1) during the regular season. The OCAA Championships are being hosted by Georgian College.
