TORONTO - The following student-athletes have been recognized by the Ontario Colleges Athletic Association (OCAA) for their accomplishments during the seven-day period ending Sunday, Jan. 27:

Zach Soltis
School: Fanshawe
Program: Business
Year of Eligibility: 3
Sport: Men's Basketball
Hometown: Cambridge, Ont.
Soltis had a career night on Jan. 26 in Fanshawe's 121-55 win over Sault. The third-year small forward scored 31 points while grabbing 17 rebounds for an impressive double-double. Soltis also contributed five assists, two steals and one block, shooting 12-of-17 (70.6 per cent) from the field. Soltis entered the game averaging just 6.9 points per game. He grabbed another 10 rebounds while scoring seven points in a 101-57 win over Sault on Jan. 27. Fanshawe (11-4) has a record of 4-1 in January with a home game against Mohawk (5-8) on Jan. 31 to end the month.
