The No. 1 nationally ranked Fanshawe Women's Golf team and No. 4 ranked Men's Golf team competed in Fanshawe's Golf Classic last Saturday, September 14 at FireRock Golf Club.

The Men's team finished first, with a total score of 300, six strokes better than No. 2 CCAA ranked Humber. The top finisher for the Fanshawe Men was Blake Mackey (Walkerton, ON), who recorded a score of 74, including a 34 score back-nine to edge out teammate Brad Byers (Oakville, ON) for second overall.

The Women's squad finished in second place, with Alyssa Stoddard (Orangeville, ON) coming in third individually with a score of 82.

This upcoming week, the Falcons will be on the road for two tournaments. On Wednesday, September 18 they will participate in the Lakehead – Orillia Invitational at Hawk Ridge Golf Club then on September 19 will play in the Georgian Invitational at Heritage Hills.
