Twining helped lead Fanshawe to a second consecutive OCAA men's team gold medal last weekend at the curling provincials. Fanshawe needed an extra end to defeat previously undefeated Sault 6-4 in the finale. Twining was named an OCAA First-Team All-Star for his excellent play throughout the championship. Fanshawe's men's team has reached the podium in each of the last 10 provincials, including the gold medal three of the last four years. Twining and his teammates will now play for national gold in Fredericton, N.B., in March.
