(London, Ontario) – On Wednesday evening, the Fanshawe Women's Curling team received their 2018 CCAA National Championship rings at halftime of the Fanshawe Women's Basketball game versus the Redeemer Royals.

The Women's Curling team had a fantastic season, claiming the silver medal at the OCAA Provincial Championship, the gold at the National Championship and three OCAA All-Star awards. The rings were produced by Baron Championship Rings in Windsor, ON.

Below is a roster of the members of the 2018 CCAA Women's Curling National Championship team;

Samantha Lees – Second

Isabelle Allan – Lead

Angelica Muscedere – Lead

Shirley Westman – Associate coach

DJ Ronaldson – Assistant Coach

Barry Westman – Head Coach

The 2018 title marks the Fanshawe Women's Curling programs' fourth CCAA National Championship, the most all-time of any women's curling program in the CCAA.
