The Home of Fanshawe Falcons Baseball to see Improvements and Upgrades

Today, the Government of Canada and the Province of Ontario announced a combined $7.1 million in funding toward improving sport, recreation and cultural facilities in London, including improvements to Labatt Park. The City of London is contributing over $1 million to the projects.

 

In the City of London, a project for Labatt Park, one of the oldest baseball stadiums in North America, will see upgrades that include the installation of accessible washrooms, and the replacement of bleachers and sports field lighting. These upgrades will improve the safety & accessibility of the stadium which is the home of the Fanshawe Falcons varsity baseball program. Labatt Park also supports local non-profit baseball organizations at all levels and community events.
