Matt Plachta is a very knowledgeable and successful coach, with experience coaching Team Ontario from 2007-09. He began his coaching career with Fanshawe in 2005, where he was the assistant coach for the Falcons Badminton team. In 2008, Plachta became head coach and has seen continuous success with his programs. In 2016, Plachta was named the OCAA Badminton Coach of the Year. He is also a Fanshawe Business Accounting graduate.
