(London, Ontario) – Fanshawe Athletics announced today, that Men's Badminton student-athlete San Dang (London, ON) has been named the Fanshawe Male Student-Athlete of the Month for March, sponsored by the Fanshawe Alumni Association.

At the OCAA Provincial Championship from March 3-5 in Scarborough, Dang captured the Men's Doubles silver medal along with teammate Arpitraj Sinha. The fourth-year then competed on the national stage in Edmonton from March 17-19 and won the first Fanshawe Falcons Men's Doubles CCAA medal, claiming the bronze with Sinha. Dang's strong play and leadership was instrumental in Fanshawe Badminton's success during the 2021-22 season.

Dang is a student-athlete in the Pharmacy Technician program.
