The Fanshawe Badminton team had a successful host tournament last weekend at the Glenn Johnston Athletic Centre.

Falcons Women's Doubles pair of Han Pham (Vietnam) and Maeyen Chua (Philippines) had a great weekend, finishing in second place in the top flight with a record of 3-1. Pham also finished tied for third in the Women's Singles event.

The Fanshawe Men's Doubles pair of Jithin Suresh (India) and Hein Van (Vietnam) also finished the weekend 3-1 in the top flight, falling in the semi-final to eventual champion Seneca.

In the Mixed Doubles 'B' flight, Suresh and Chua went 4-0 to claim the title. Kaitlyn Murray (Thessalon, ON) and Taylor Meloche (Amherstburg, ON) made it to the "C" semi-final, only to drop to eventual winners from Centennial.

The Falcons' next event will be from December 7-8 at George Brown College in Toronto.
