Overview:  Fanshawe College, under a partnership agreement with the Fanshawe College Student Union, competes in selected Intercollegiate sports within the Ontario Colleges Athletic Association (O.C.A.A.) and the Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association (C.C.A.A.).  Under the same agreement the college operates an extensive Recreation program involving over 5000 student athletes. Recreation Convenors are hired to assist full-time Athletics Department staff.

Duties:  The Recreation Convenor will be assigned specific duties relating to the supervision and operation of intramurals and other Recreation programs.  Such duties may involve customer relations, assignment of game officials, scheduling games, co-ordination and administration of league & playoff games and supervision of gyms.  Orientation and/or training will be provided in all cases as required.  You will be under the direct supervision of the Recreation Program Officer.

Qualifications:  Experience in running house leagues and/or sports tournaments are preferred.  Specific training will be required upon hiring. The applicant must be a full-time registered student at Fanshawe College.

Remuneration:  The Recreation Convenor will be paid the current minimum wage.
