Overview: Fanshawe College, under a partnership agreement with the Fanshawe College Student Union, competes in selected intercollegiate sports within the Ontario Colleges Athletic Association (O.C.A.A.) and the Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association (C.C.A.A.).  Under the same agreement the college operates an extensive intramural athletics program involving over 5000 student athletes. The objective of this position is to contribute to the publicity and promotion activities of the Athletics Department, which in turn are aimed at the maximization of student participation in and enjoyment of all facets of the athletics programs.

Duties: Under the general supervision of the Manager of Athletics or designate, the incumbent arranges to take photos of each Varsity Team in colour, in both web and print sized resolutions.  The photographer is responsible for equipment set up and developing of photos.  In addition to varsity team pictures, individual head shots, and team photos will be required.  The incumbent may also attend special events such as the Annual Athletic Awards Night to do photography of the event. 

Qualifications: Applicants must have demonstrable experience in sports/action photography and portrait photography.  The incumbent must have access to the use of equipment for shooting and editing purposes.  Applicant must be a full time registered student at Fanshawe College.  Preference will be given to students enrolled in the School of Contemporary Media (Photography program).

Remuneration:  The Photographer will be paid the current minimum wage.
