Overview:  Fanshawe College, under a partnership agreement with the Fanshawe College Student Union, competes in selected intercollegiate sports within the Ontario Colleges Athletic Association (O.C.A.A.) and the Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association (C.C.A.A.).  Under the same agreement the college operates an extensive Campus Rec program involving over 5000 student athletes. 

Duties: Varsity Minor Officials assist Athletics Department Staff in ensuring that varsity games are run and managed efficiently through score and timekeeping. The incumbent will help to keep score and time during a variety of varsity collegiate games, including volleyball and basketball. The incumbent will be responsible for attending all home varsity games, which are held during evenings and weekends. You will be under the supervision of the respected Sport Athletics Officer and the Score Table Chief.

Qualifications:  Applicants must have a working knowledge of the rules and regulations of the sport being officiated, as well as being able to work the score clock, score sheet and timekeep. Applicants must be full time registered students at Fanshawe College. Ability to work well with fellow students and staff is required. Good interpersonal skills. Reliability and punctuality is mandatory as games are during the evenings and weekends.

Remuneration:  The Varsity Minor Official will be paid the current minimum wage.
