(London, Ontario) – On Thursday at Seneca College in Toronto, the Fanshawe Indoor Soccer squads both clinched their spots in the OCAA Championships after finishing first in their OCAA regional tournaments.

The Women finished as the top seed with a 4-0 record, opening with a 1-0 win over the University of Toronto Mississauga. The Falcons then defeated Lambton 3-0, before capturing afternoon wins over Georgian and Sheridan 2-0.

The Fanshawe Men also went 4-0 on the day, good for first place. They claimed victories over Centennial 1-0 and Lambton 5-0. The Falcons then won 3-0 over Georgian and finished the day with a 3-0 victory over Durham to conclude the tournament.

Both Fanshawe teams now advance to the OCAA Provincial Championships from March 12-13 at Redeemer University in Ancaster, ON.
