(London, Ontario) – Four of a possible five Fanshawe Falcons varsity teams cracked the Nation's top fifteen in this week's Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) weekly rankings.

The Fanshawe Men's Volleyball team (12-0) are ranked #1 in the nation for the ninth straight week. The Falcons are currently riding a 43-game OCAA regular season win streak. Other OCAA Men's Volleyball teams that are ranked include Humber (4), Redeemer (10) and Niagara (15).  

The Women's Volleyball squad have had their best start in history with a 12-0 record, putting them at #5 in the country. Fanshawe will face #11 St. Clair tonight at the Glenn Johnston Athletic Centre for a battle for first place in the OCAA West Division.

The Falcons Women's Basketball team (12-1) sit in the #2 spot in the CCAA rankings this week after an 80-66 victory over #11 Humber on the road last week.

The Fanshawe Badminton team is also ranked nationally this week, coming in at #13 in the rankings. The Falcons are led by Melanie Wade (Calgary, AB) and San Dang (London, ON). Fanshawe's next tournament will be the OCAA West Regionals from February 1-2 at Conestoga College. Ten of eleven Falcons teams have now appeared in this year's CCAA rankings.
