(London, Ontario) – Three Fanshawe Falcons varsity teams have been recognized as one of the Nation's best teams in this week's Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) weekly rankings.

The Fanshawe Men's Volleyball squad are ranked #1 in the Nation for the third straight week. The Falcons have started their season 5-0, including a three set sweep of #11 Redeemer last Wednesday. Fanshawe has not dropped a set in OCAA league play.   

The Women's Volleyball team have moved up to #6 this week after also starting their season 5-0, atop of the OCAA West Division. They will look to continue their win streak this weekend in Sudbury against Cambrian and Boréal. Other OCAA teams that are ranked include St. Clair (10) and Humber (11).

The Falcons Women's Basketball squad remains in the #2 spot in the CCAA rankings this week. Fanshawe (5-1) will face #11 Sheridan (5-1) in Brampton on Friday, November 16 in a battle for the top spot in the OCAA West.
