Nick D'Oria graduated from the Electrical Apprentice program in 2003. D'Oria took home more than just hands on experience in the classroom, he was able to showcase his athletic abilities on the soccer field as well. He was an integral part of the Fanshawe Falcons men's soccer team from 1996-1998 winning a bronze medal. D'Oria returned to Fanshawe for the 2001-02 season where he was named an OCAA West League All-Star. He earned an OCAA gold medal and was name a CCAA Tournament All-Star. D'Oria helped the team win a CCAA silver medal. D'Oria was named as a member of the OCAA Men's Soccer All-Millennium Team in 2009.
