(London, Ontario) – The Falcons Cross Country teams hosted their annual invitational this past Saturday at the Fanshawe Conservation Area.
The No. 4 CCAA ranked Men's team finished in first place. Third year runner Sandy Freeland (Kitchener, ON) was Fanshawe's top runner, finishing in second individually with an 8km race time of 25:36. Teammate Patrick Smith (Ottawa, ON) finished fourth overall.
Jessica Martin (Port Elgin, ON) was the winner of the Women's individual race for the Falcons. Martin ran the 6km route in 23:15. The No. 15 nationally ranked Women's team finished in second place and Sammi-Jo Burch (Strathroy, ON) finished in fourth at 24:15.
