Vassallo began coaching the Falcons in January 2022. He is the current Assistant Technical Director of Whitecaps London FC, as well as their High Performance Manager. Most recently, Vassallo found success coaching the Whitecaps U17 Girls and U17 Boys OPDL teams. He is a National B licensed coach who also brings experience working for Vancouver Whitecaps FC. As a player, Vassallo played professionally with Birkirkara FC in the Maltese Premier League, winning the league championship in 2006. He also played with the U18, U19, and U21 Maltese National Team and as a student-athlete at Jamestown College in the United States, where he was named Player of the Year in 2007. Vassallo graduated from Western’s Arts Program in 2013, majoring in Health and Wellness Studies.
