(London, Ontario) – The Fanshawe Women's Soccer team dropped their CCAA semi-final game to Sainte-Foy on Thursday evening by a score of 2-0. The loss was the first of the season for the Falcons. The Championship is being held in Edmonton, Alberta hosted by Concordia University.

Despite many corner kick opportunities, the Falcons could not find the back of the net in the first half and went into the half time break down two. Fanshawe continued to apply pressure in the second frame however could not capitalize and fell by a final score of 2-0. Amber-Lea Hodgins (London, ON) was named the player of the match for Fanshawe.
