Fanshawe Men’s Volleyball Team Finishes Fifth in Country

(London, Ontario) – The Fanshawe Men's Volleyball team concluded their impressive season tied for fifth place in the nation at the CCAA National Championship in Toronto.

 

The Falcons fell to No. 1 nationally ranked Camosun 3-1 in a hard-fought semi-final match on Thursday evening. Daniel Ridings (St. Catharine's, ON) was named the player of the game, with a team-high 24 points.

 

Fanshawe then dropped a 3-1 contest to Vancouver Island University in the bronze medal semi-final game on Friday. Jayden Crowther (London, ON) was named the player of the match, with 14 points.

 

For his strong performance throughout the tournament, Fanshawe captain Sebastian Lethbridge (London, ON) was named a CCAA First Team Tournament All-Star.
