Mason recorded a career-high 19 points in Fanshawe's four-set road victory at Sheridan on Jan. 9 to open the second half of the regular season. The Fanshawe rookie notched 17 kills and a pair of blocks while adding four digs. It was Mason's second straight OCAA match contributing double digits in kills and points. He currently leads his team with 68 kills, averaging 2.27 per set. The win avenged an earlier five-set loss to Sheridan last November, and evened Fanshawe's record at 5-5. It was also head coach Patrick Johnston's 100th OCAA league victory.
