Tony Marcotullio brings an extensive background in basketball coaching and player development. He stepped into the role of Head Coach for the Falcons in 2012, succeeding Glenn Johnston. His coaching career includes leading a world all-star team to a top-four finish in Las Vegas in 2000 and serving as Assistant Coach for the U15 Team Ontario in 2011, which won the national championship.
Since 2013, Marcotullio has been involved in elite training with the Ontario Basketball Centre of Performance, where he works to identify and develop future national team athletes. During his tenure at H.B. Beal Secondary School, he guided the team to an AAAA OFSAA bronze medal and a fourth-place finish, playing a pivotal role in the school's basketball success.
A founder of the Gold Medal Basketball Club, Marcotullio has been instrumental in advancing basketball development in London. His coaching résumé includes working with over 15 NCAA Division I athletes and NBA-level talent, including former first-round pick's Nenad Krstić and more recently Shaedon Sharpe of the Portland Trail Blazers. Marcotullio played a key role in Sharpe’s development as his head coach at H.B. Beal.
