(London, Ontario) – The Fanshawe Men's Doubles Badminton team was victorious on Saturday at the 2024 OCAA Badminton Provincial Championships in Toronto. The OCAA Championships were hosted by Centennial College at the Athletics and Wellness Centre.

Arpitraj Sinha (Markham, ON) and Roshan Rajan Jacob (London, ON) captured the gold medal after winning the championship match against Humber in two rounds. The Falcons swept their opponents by scores of 21-11 and 21-19. The Falcons had an overall record of 6-1 and had the largest point differential in the tournament. Sinha was also named an OCAA Badminton Men's West Regional All-Star.

Sinha and Rajan Jacob will now represent the Falcons at the 2024 Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) Badminton National Championships in King City, Ontario from February 29- March 2, 2024.
