The #13 nationally ranked Fanshawe Falcons Badminton team had a successful weekend at the OCAA West Regionals hosted by Conestoga College in Kitchener.
Falcons Women's Singles student-athlete Melanie Wade (Calgary, AB) finished in second place with a 5-1 record. The Women's Doubles team of Helen Ngu (London, ON) and Han Pham (Danang, Vietnam) also finished in second place with a 3-1 record. The Fanshawe Women's team finished third place overall in the event.
Wade, Ngu and Pham will represent Fanshawe at the OCAA Provincial Championships which will take place on February 15-16 at the University of Toronto Mississauga.
