Overview: Fanshawe College, under a partnership agreement with the Fanshawe College Student Union, competes in selected intercollegiate sports within the Ontario Colleges Athletic Association (O.C.A.A.) and the Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association (C.C.A.A.). Under the same agreement the college operates an extensive Campus Rec program involving over 5000 student athletes. The Late Night Recreation Program operates from September to April. This program will run four nights a week from 10:00 PM to 12:00 AM.
Duties: The Late Night Recreation Program convenor is responsible for the set-up, take down and supervision of the Late Night Recreation Programs. Activities will include on site supervision of all games, controlling of equipment, sign-in processes, promotion and reporting of all activities. The convenor must deliver the programs with a sound approach to Health and Safety of participants. You will be under the direct supervision of the Recreation Program Officer.
Qualifications: Supervisory experience or involvement with sport facilities in leagues and tournaments is preferred. Good interpersonal skills. Applicants must be a registered full time student at Fanshawe College. It is mandatory that the successful applicant be CPR & First Aid certified.
Remuneration: The Late Night Recreation Convenor will be paid the current minimum wage.
