Overview:  Fanshawe College, under a partnership agreement with the Fanshawe College Student Union, competes in selected intercollegiate sports within the Ontario Colleges Athletic Association (O.C.A.A.) and the Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association (C.C.A.A.).  Under the same agreement the college operates an extensive Campus Rec program involving over 5000 student athletes. 

Duties: Officials assist Athletics Department staff in ensuring that games are conducted within the rules and regulations applicable to the sport in question and that the highest standards of fair competition are maintained.  Positions vary according to sport, but include: Referees, linesmen, umpires, scorekeepers, timekeepers, etc. You will be under the direct supervision of the Recreation Program Officer.

Qualifications:  Applicant must be a full time registered student at Fanshawe College. Intramural referees must have a working knowledge of rules and regulations of the sport being officiated. It is recommended to have First Aid and/or CPR. Willingness to work with fellow students and staff.  Good interpersonal communication skills.  Reliability! Punctuality!  Referees with specific sport certification will get preference.

Remuneration:  The Intramural Referees/Umpires/Scorekeepers will be paid the current minimum wage.
