(London, Ontario) – On Saturday, January 25, the Fanshawe Falcons Volleyball and Basketball teams will be taking part in their annual Falcons Fest event. In addition to the exciting game action versus rival Humber, there will be free hot dogs, soft drinks and Qdoba nachos while supplies last. It will also be reverse jersey night, so fans will get the chance to see the Falcons in their red away jerseys.
Along with free food, there will be Falcons swag given out at the event. The first 75 fans at each game will receive a one-of-a-kind Fanshawe Falcons beach towel. There will also be a student-only draw for Fanshawe students who sign up for the Falcons Weekly Newsletter (www.fanshawefalcons.ca/weekly) for a chance to win a 60" 4K Smart TV courtesy of Fanshawe Athletics. Participants must be present at the event to win.
Falcons Fest kicks off at 1pm with the No. 4 CCAA ranked Women's Volleyball team taking on No. 15 Humber followed by the Falcons Men's squad facing No. 1 Humber. After the volleyball games, the No. 8 Fanshawe Women's Basketball team will battle against No. 4 Humber in a first place showdown starting at 5pm. To conclude the quad-header, the No. 11 Men's Basketball team will square off against the Hawks at 7pm. Admission to all Falcons home games is $5 or free for Fanshawe students with their FANCard as well as for children under 6.
