Eight Falcons Named CCAA Academic All-Canadians

(London, Ontario) – The Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) Academic All-Canadian award is the CCAA's most prestigious student-athlete honour, epitomizing a commitment to academic success and athletic achievement. A CCAA Academic All-Canadian must be an Honour student and be named a league or tournament All-Star in their respective sport. To qualify for Honours at Fanshawe, a student must achieve a GPA of 3.9 or higher. Fanshawe was tied for first in the province and third nationally with eight student-athletes being recognized for their success in the classroom and on the court. The following Falcons were named 2018-19 Academic All-Canadians:

 

Danielle Grasman, Volleyball

Megan Morelli, Volleyball

James Jackson, Volleyball

Sebastian Lethbridge, Volleyball

Mitch McFadden, Volleyball

Laura Vere, Basketball

Helen Ngu, Badminton

Kaitlyn Poirier, Curling
