(London, Ontario) – Three Fanshawe Falcons varsity teams remain in the nation's top five of the first Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) rankings of 2019.

The Fanshawe Men's Volleyball team (9-0) are ranked #1 in the nation for the seventh straight week. The Falcons are currently riding a 40-game OCAA regular season win streak and will look to extend that on Friday when they travel to Hamilton to face the Mohawk Mountaineers. Other OCAA Men's Volleyball teams that are ranked include Humber (4), Redeemer (12) and Georgian (14).   

The Women's Volleyball squad sits at #5 in the country after an undefeated first semester in OCAA league play. The Falcons are 9-0 and sit at the top of the OCAA West Division. Fanshawe will be on the road on Friday, January 11 to take on Mohawk. Other OCAA Women's Volleyball teams that are ranked include St. Clair (11) and Humber (14).

The Falcons Women's Basketball team (9-1) remain in the #2 spot in the CCAA rankings again this week. Next up, the Falcons will travel to the University of Toronto Mississauga on Sunday, January 13. The other OCAA teams in the CCAA top 15 include Humber (12) and Algonquin (15).
